It was launched in July 2021 by Andy Chorlian and began as a simple smart contract for fractional ownership, designed to foster communities around popular NFT projects.
In August 2022, the project expanded into a complete NFT infrastructure and rebranded as Tessera, continuing to support fractional ownership at scale and enabling broader participation in coveted NFT markets.
