Launched in December 2020, Lido is a leading liquid staking platform that lets users earn interest on their cryptocurrencies across blockchains.

The Lido DAO governs the protocol, including selecting node operators and setting fees, and helps ensure security.

When staking assets, users receive a liquid token such as stETH that can be used across DeFi apps and staked for additional yield.

Unlike traditional staking, Lido enables continued use of liquid tokens across DeFi.
