Daylight installs solar panels and batteries in homes for no upfront cost, charging a monthly rate below the local utility, and currently operates in Illinois and Massachusetts.

Its DayFi protocol finances those installations on-chain: GRID is a stablecoin backed by Treasuries and cash, and sGRID adds a share of the revenue the solar systems earn.

DayFi's first deployment outside Ethereum is on Plasma, and Daylight is backed by a16z and Framework.
