Perp DEXs and on-chain trading venues integrate Calm in place of a retail on-ramp widget.

Calm argues that widgets price every user as a fraud risk, which pushes deposit fees to between four and ten percent, while trading flows are repeat and predictable and can be priced accordingly.

It claims to cut those fees by up to 80 percent.
